Latinos and the Lottery
Thank you for expressing my feelings about the lottery. I, too, feel as Gamboa does about the lottery taking from those least likely to be able to afford spending their money on an unrealistic dream.
If reforms can be instituted and awards made more fairly, I might change my mind. However, more revenue to needy school districts would have to be part of the reform.
