Patrick J. Kennedy was named vice president of engineering for InterDyne, a computer peripheral company based in Mission Viejo. Michael P. Zachan, who had been acting vice president of both marketing and engineering, remains vice president of marketing. Before joining InterDyne, Kennedy was director of engineering at AST Research, Irvine. Before that, he was manager of product development for the Honeywell Protection Services division.
