Jackson, Dukakis and the Democrats

Your article on Kitty Dukakis makes her out as a really caring person, one who is thoughtful for humanity (Part I, June 12). It will be a really welcome change to have a First Lady who cares more about the welfare of poor people and refugees than about money and clothes.
