Local News in Brief : Fullerton : ‘Radiothon’ Set to Aid Cal State’s Gymnasts

There will be a “radiothon” to benefit the men’s gymnastic team at Cal State Fullerton. Radio announcers on KWIZ-96.7 FM or 1480 AM will be asking listeners for donations from 7 p.m. today to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Due to budget trimming, the men’s gymnastic team will be cut from the athletic team will be cut from the athletic program next year unless it can raise $20,000, according to radio announcer Perry Evans. For more information, call (714) 554-1480.
