OBITUARIES : Funeral Service Slated Monday for Dennis Day

A funeral service for Dennis Day, the Irish tenor best known to fans as Jack Benny’s comic sidekick, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.

Day, 71, died Wednesday night at his Bel-Air Estates home of the complications of Lou Gehrig’s disease.
