An agreement announced by Northrop last month to sell its Northrop Worldwide Aircraft Services Inc. has been terminated for undisclosed reasons. A spokesman said the company is still trying to sell the unit. The aircraft services business, which has estimated annual sales of $100 million, was part of Northrop’s larger international business, which has been largely dissolved. Northrop had agreed in principle to sell the operation to Corporate Acquisitions of Dallas and Matrix Equity Group of Los Angeles. Corporate Acquisitions was said to be funded by the Bass family investors of Texas. Matrix is a privately held firm. The value of the sale was put at less than $100 million.
