Trade Gap

The article, “End of Trade Gap Forecast by the ‘90s--if Not Sooner,” (Part I, June 19) brings both good news and bad news.

The good news is that the trade imbalance could disappear by next year. The bad news is that America won’t have Japan et al. to bash anymore.
