Ashton-Tate, Torrance, has announced the resignation of Roy E. Folk, executive vice president and general manager of the software products division. Folk has resigned to pursue personal and entrepreneurial interests; his resignation is effective Sept. 15. The company will not hire a replacement for Folk.
