Dukakis Selects Vice President
Trivia question of the day: “Which political candidate is from the state of Texas, is associated with the post of vice president, is independently wealthy, is over 60 years old, has a conservative bias, is about as exciting as molasses, is a former combat pilot, has a political recognition problem, and whose last name starts with a ‘B’?”
Well, if you answered either Bush or Bentsen, you are correct. They are so similar that in a U.S. Senate race in which they ran against one another they were referred to as Tweedledee and Tweedledum.
