Geoff Brabham came from behind to win the Miller High Life 500-kilometer Camel GTP feature race before a crowd of 40,000 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. Brabham averaged 108.338 m.p.h. in earning his sixth straight victory, an International Motor Sports Assn. record.
