Printronix, an Irvine-based manufacturer of computer printers, reported net income of $1.4 million for its first quarter ended June 24. It had a net loss a year earlier of $1.5 million. Sales totaled $34.5 million, 29% higher than the $27.5 million posted for the comparable period last year.
