Biomerica has acquired 2.36 million common shares, or almost 36%, of Lancer Orthodontics of Carlsbad as an investment, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Newport Beach-based diagnostic test-kit manufacturer said it paid $1.65 million for the shares of Lancer.
