Afghan guerrillas fired 15 rockets into a residential area of Kabul, killing 11 people, wounding 23 and destroying several homes, Afghanistan state radio reported. The missiles added to the 165 rockets that the Afghan government said have hit the capital since May 15, when Soviet troops began withdrawing from the country under the April 14 Geneva accords. The U.S.-supplied guerrillas deny having fired rockets into residential areas and say their Kabul targets are military installations, the Soviet Embassy and the airport.
