The Lakers will play 17 of their first 24 games of the 1988-89 season on the road, the team announced.
Included are their first three games--at Dallas, Friday night, Nov. 4; at San Antonio, Nov. 5, and at Golden State, Nov. 7.
The Lakers will receive their championship rings in their home opener Wednesday night, Nov. 9, against the Denver Nuggets.
