Israeli troops shot and killed a 13-year-old Palestinian girl and injured three boys during clashes in occupied Gaza City, Arab officials said. Suheir Fuad Afana, 13, of the Shati refugee camp was shot in the stomach by troops and died on the operating table at Shifa Hospital, according to a doctor. Hospital officials said troops also shot and wounded three boys ranging in age from 11 to 15. An army spokesman said troops sent to break up a riot in the Shati camp opened fire when Palestinians threw bricks at them. Meanwhile, the military commander of the West Bank lifted a curfew that had confined more than 120,000 Nablus residents to their homes since Thursday.
