Eastman Kodak Co.’s second-quarter earnings increased 8% to $390 million from last year. Revenue totaled $4.1 billion, up 29%. The Rochester, N.Y., photographic and equipment company credited the results to the contribution of the Sterling Drug subsidiary acquired in February, higher sales, the benefits of the relatively weak dollar and a decline in its tax rate.
