Oman Hotel Turns Out a Record Shish Kebab

MUSCAT, Oman —
A Muscat hotel has set a record for making the world’s longest shish kebab, the hotel claimed Thursday.
The Ruwi Novotel cooked a 459-foot-long kebab, a feat now officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records, according to hotel executives.
The 330-pound kebab was cooked over 3,960 pounds of charcoal on a giant barbecue.
