I wonder what The Times position would be if the title of the motion picture were “The Last Temptation of George Washington,” or Abraham Lincoln, or Franklin Roosevelt, or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., or John Kennedy, or Tom Bradley, or Otis Chandler?
