Heavy Issue: Columnist Adds Too Much Weight

Mike Downey’s column on Ramona Pagel (July 25) mentions that “any woman who heaves a 16-pound steel ball must have muscles made by DuPont.” Well, he was only half right. Women only throw an eight-pound ball.
