AIDS and Medical Care

Share

There is no question that without the full involvement of doctors and other health care providers we are destined to fail in meeting the challenge of the AIDS epidemic. But I do wonder what can be gained from making those who have refused to get involved to date seem like “the bad guys.”

Just as doctors have to be sensitive in treating their patients in general, we need to understand that many of them are pushed to their limits. Still, I do not believe there are enough good excuses to sit out the AIDS challenge.
