Space Executive Retiring

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. —
Luther Powell, the head of the space station project at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, said he is retiring to take a job in the private sector. Powell, 57, will be succeeded by E. Ray Tanner, a 28-year veteran of the space agency.
