‘Greenhouse Down to Earth’

Share

The column by Meadows provides a realistic solution to the environmental crisis we have created--an acknowledgment of our interconnectedness with the earth’s life-support system, and facts that substantiate the use of conservation, renewable energy sources and taking care of our natural protective environment.

Unfortunately, it is easier to believe in magic--that technology can be made to do whatever we want, rather than that we can only discover the laws already in existence. I feel it’s time we stopped thinking that we can always have things the way we want, and start thinking about what we need to contribute for the well being of the whole earth. There is where our future security lies.
