Software Toolworks Buys IntelliCreations/Datasoft

Software Toolworks, a publicly held Sherman Oaks computer software publisher headed by former network talk-show host and actor Les Crane, has agreed to buy for an undisclosed amount IntelliCreations/Datasoft, a privately held software publisher in Chatsworth.

The companies will have combined annual sales of more than $6 million. Datasoft’s titles include “The Hunt for Red October,” “Bruce Lee” and “Alternate Reality-The Dungeon.”

Crane said Software Toolworks will move its headquarters to Chatsworth.
