Brazil Clinic Robbed of 480,000 Condoms

RIO DE JANEIRO —
Three armed gunman have stolen 480,000 condoms in a raid on a family planning clinic here.
Police said the robbers intended to sell the condoms to Rio street vendors, who sell anything from socks to candy here.
Brazil, with the fourth highest number of reported acquired immune deficiency syndrome cases in the world, runs a big publicity campaign against the virus.
