Robert Brown has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president of semiconductor operations for Toshiba America’s electronic components business sector. Previously, he was vice president of the sector. In his new post, Brown is responsible for the semiconductor products division in Irvine and the automotive device division in Southfield, Mich. He remains general manager of the Irvine division, responsible for memory and microprocessor products. Brown joined Toshiba in 1983 after 10 years in sales management at Signetics Corp.
