Czech Invasion Now History, Pole Says

WARSAW —
Government spokesman Jerzy Urban said Tuesday that Poland has no need to rethink its participation in the Soviet-led invasion that crushed a reform movement in Czechoslovakia 20 years ago.
“It is already a historical event,” Urban said at a weekly news conference. “The Polish government has no reason to deal with the analysis of the past events and verify previous moves.”
