Expert Teachers

In response to “Teachers at the Head of Their Class,” Part I, July 29:

How refreshing to see expert teachers presented in a such a positive light! I don’t know who to thank--Elaine Woo for her eloquent writing, or The Times for placing her article on the front page. In a time when teachers en masse are so often criticized, you have chosen to portray those professionals who truly believe our children are our future.

Now it’s our turn to “Stand and Deliver” our applause of encouragement!
