WINE CONSUMPTION: Loyalty to the Local Product

People in the Los Angeles area are more likely to buy domestic wines than are residents of New York and Chicago, according to a national consumer survey. When it comes to imported wines, however, Los Angeles residents are poorer than average customers, while New Yorkers prove to be enthusiastic sippers, buying 50% more than the national average.
