Your editorial portrayal of Reagan’s obviously jocular reference to Dukakis’ health as “surely one of the more tasteless lapses of his presidency” takes the cake.
When I think of the countless aspersions to the President’s mentality that have appeared on your editorial pages, not to mention the patently malicious campaign of presidential vilification ceaselessly waged by cartoonist Conrad with your obvious blessings, I must nominate you for the Pulitzer Prize for hypocrisy.
