A man authorities suspect committed two recent bank robberies in South Lake Tahoe, one in Carson City and six others in Southern California was arrested by Douglas County sheriff’s deputies in Stateline, Nev. Sidney Lane Green, 30, was arrested at the High Sierra casino, deputies said, and was being held at the Douglas County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bail. Green will likely be extradited to California, officers said. A casino security guard called police when he noticed that Green matched the description on a flyer of a man who committed three bank robberies in the area last week.
