Award Recipient’s Contributions Ignored

On Monday, you ran a story headlined “Agoura Hills Businessman Is Honored.” The words that followed belied the headline.

It seems that Arthur Whizin received a humanitarian award from the Kiwanis and Optimist clubs. Surely this recognition of “40 years of continuous dedication, service and unselfish contributions” has some meaning!

Not one allusion did the reporter make to that significant history! Instead, she told us why there was a small turnout and why Whizin has alienated some segments of the community.

I think that Arthur Whizin deserves an honest reporting of his generous actions and significant financial contributions to his community.
