‘Too Fast’ Is All Too True

“Growing Up Too Fast” (Aug. 9, by Joan Libman) is an outstanding piece of perceptive journalism that insightfully analyzes the real problems American youth and society face today. Dealing for years at the university level with students, I cannot stress too heavily how accurate the author’s analysis of questions concerning drugs, alcohol, discretionary incomes, societal disregard, etc., happens to be in the 1980s.
