The Bottom Line Is Bucks

I felt disgusted after reading “Face to Face: Surgeons Trade Secrets” (Aug. 9, by Beverly Beyette). The bottom line for all this surgery is pure greed--big bucks, if you like. The only time this type of surgery is warranted is if a person’s face and body became mangled as a result of some mishap. There is a good chance that these physicians attended a state-financed medical school, and to have their talents wasted on pulling up some insecure people’s wrinkles is tragic.
