‘Hazards to Your Health’

The levity you display in the editorial, comparing alcohol with food, etc., doesn’t become you. Alcohol is the number-one cause of death. It is a major cause of crime. It is a major cause of marital difficulties. Alcohol is a major cause of traffic accidents, and last but not least, it is a major problem for the young.

Sen. Strom Thurmond (R-S.C.) should get an A+, and I am afraid I would give you an F for not putting alcohol in its proper place.
