The Orange County coroner’s office will examine dental records today to determine the positive identification of two people who died in a fire at an El Toro condominium.

The victims, a man and a woman who were house guests of the owners, died in the blaze on Saturday that caused $150,000 in damage to the condominium on the 21000 block of Camino de Paseo and destroyed $50,000 in contents.

Marshall Rich, who lived in the condominium, escaped injury.

His wife, Rosemary Rich, who suffered second- and third-degree burns over 60% of her body and a fractured right knee, remained in serious but stable condition, said a hospital spokeswoman at the burn unit at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
