KVSD-AM’s (1000) new program director is John Van Zante. He replaces Rob Branch, who abruptly left the station Monday to pursue other opportunities. Van Zante will continue to host an afternoon news show. Keith Bennett, Branch’s former partner, now has a live, phone-in talk show from 8-9 a.m., in addition to the news and information program “Good Morning San Diego” from 6-8 a.m.
