Quayle

The Times editorial asks “Why Dan Quayle?” (Aug. 18). The answer is simple: Not having a bird in the hand, a Quayle in the Bush (camp) is the next best thing. It’s certainly better than being on the Dole. However, the Republicans now do indeed appear un-Kemp-t!
