TEQUILA!

I raise my glass to Robert Lawrence Balzer for his colorful cactus-to-bottle account of tequila’s creation (“Spirit of the Southwest,” July 10). However, he gives the order of the drinking ritual as tequila, followed by salt, followed by the lime. I learned the sequence as salt first, then tequila, then lime. Please correct me, or send Mr. Balzer back to the wine cellar.
