York International, New York, has named James T. Dresher chairman and chief executive. Dresher previously was vice chairman of the air-conditioning and heating company. Dresher joined York in 1985 and has been instrumental in its restructuring and acquisition program, which has brought it from a revenue level of $636 million to a projected $1.2 billion in 1988. York International, which had been valued at $125 million at the time of the spinout from Borg-Warner in April, 1986, recently agreed to be acquired by a subsidiary of Citicorp in a deal valued at more than $750 million.
