What Will History Say About Reagan?
I have never before sent a congratulatory letter to the Los Angeles Times, but the article (Part I, Aug. 30) of staffer Norman Kempster underlining the many positive accomplishments of Ronald Reagan’s Administration is an excellent piece of work. That this President was able to count so many successes and will be able to leave a lasting legacy in domestic and foreign affairs is yet more remarkable in the light of the unremitting hostility he faced from Congress (since mid-term) and from the media.
