What Will History Say About Reagan?

I am so tired of hearing that the Republicans have not raised taxes during the Reagan Administration (“The Reagan Legacy--Huge Debts Cast Shadow Over Economic Revolution/Taxes Cut, Inflation Curbed,” Part I, Aug. 23). This last year my unemployment compensation was taxed: if that’s not raising taxes, and imposing financial hardship on those who can afford it least, I don’t know what is.
