Living Near a Base

I don’t know how bright the commanding officers of the Marine Corps Air Station in Tustin or the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station are, but I do know they are flirting with catastrophe with their low-flying sorties and missions against Irvine.

For months now, the only missions the helicopters seem to have is to fly 50 feet over Irvine--creating vibrations and noise pollution at least a dozen times a day--and setting up the basis for a small catastrophe. Helicopters of their types are naturally unstable and unreliable under the best of conditions.

In addition, I know our jet fighters don’t have noise suppressors on their engines, but I think they can swoop low over the desert just as easily as they do during the day over the more populated centers of Irvine.
