A janitor who convinced thousands that he had won the nation’s largest Lotto jackpot has been arrested and charged with two felony fraud counts, the Florida Lottery Department announced.

Charles Hill was arrested Friday at his Bristol home. He claimed to have the winning ticket in the Sept. 3 Lotto drawing that was worth $55.1 million and was able to buy two customized vans from different dealers with no money down.

But the lottery announced last week that Sheelah Ryan, 63, a Winter Springs real estate broker, had won the jackpot, and the vans were returned.
