A 64-year-old man died from injuries suffered in the crash of Delta Flight 1141 at Dallas last month, bringing the death toll to 14, officials said. Edmond Fadal of Waco, Tex., was one of two severely burned victims from the Aug. 31 crash. His wife, Marian, 65, died in the crash. The 15-year-old Boeing 727 crashed at Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport seconds after takeoff. The three-man cockpit crew and 94 others survived. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash. NTSB officials said their inquiry is focusing on possible problems with the jet’s wing flaps and its three Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines.
