College Roundup : UC Irvine Teams Lose in Soccer

Brian Lou and Marcio Musiet each scored goals as Chapman College defeated UC Irvine, 2-1, Sunday in men’s soccer at Irvine.

Lou scored seven minutes into the second half to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Musiet scored with 19 minutes left for a 2-0 advantage.

Cameron Beaulac scored with 12 minutes remaining for Irvine.

Chapman’s record is 4-1. Irvine is 1-2.

In women’s soccer:

San Francisco State 2, UC Irvine 0--Kadie Theland and Michelle Tatos scored for host San Francisco State. Irvine is 0-5.
