Popular KLSX-FM (97.1) morning man Phil Hendrie has been shifted to unspecified weekend work on the classic-rock station and is being replaced by out-of-towners Peter Tilden (from Philadelphia) and Roz (from Chicago). KLSX program director Tom Yates said Tuesday the shift was in response to the latest Arbitron audience rating reports, which suggest that the classic rock format needed some boosting in the mornings. Yates said the new format will be “much more adult and literate than this town is used to.”
