Tongue Biter on Probation

SEOUL —
A South Korean court gave a suspended six-month sentence and a year’s probation Wednesday to a 33-year-old married woman convicted of biting off the tongue of a would-be rapist, court officials said. Her attacker, a 20-year-old youth, was sentenced to three years in prison by the court in the southeastern city of Andong.
