5 Guerrillas Hurt in Israeli Raid
Israeli warplanes today blasted Palestine Liberation Organization bases on the outskirts of Sidon, and police said five guerrillas were wounded in the 14th such raid on Lebanon this year.
The police said three other PLO fighters were missing and presumed dead. The warplanes struck four PLO bases in the Palestinian refugee camp of Miye Miye, on the southern edge of Sidon, and in Ein el Delb, about a mile to the east. Police said two Israeli jets made five bombing sorties in 45 minutes, firing 16 rockets into the PLO bases. Two other warplanes flew cover in the raid.
