The biggest story of the Olympic Games so far is the fact that the Korean Greco-Roman wrestling team has inadvertently shown up at the boxing venue and been allowed to tackle, butt, hold and wrestle their opponents while being inexplicably heralded as accomplished “boxers.”
Get serious. In the match between Michael Carbajal of the United States and South Korea’s Oh Kwang Soo, and the one between Bulgaria’s Alexander Hristov and South Korea’s Byun Jong Il, both the Bulgarian and the American were clearly better boxers.
Delete the illegal punches and the matches were no contest. Let’s tell it like it is.
