The stripping of Ben Johnson’s Olympic gold medal may prove to be a most powerful “shot in the arm” to the “Just Say No” to drugs campaign in this country.
The impact on the younger generation of the North American continent, which in the twinkling of an eye, relegated him from a super-hero to an embarrassment, cannot be overemphasized.
It will prove more effective than many million dollars worth of drug education in our schools.
